Competent Climber Rescuer is a certification course recommended for climbers who have a minimum amount of work at heights experience and general knowledge of PPE & Fall Protection equipment. This course is designed for those such as Crew leaders, site supervisors, safety representatives, lead climbers and others perceived by the employer as a competent person.   This training provides individuals with the information required to safely distinguish, evaluate, and control hazards related to work at heights. Completion of this course also allows the competent climber rescuer to oversee the work of an Authorized Climber.

Competent Climber/Rescuer exceeds OSHA CFR29 1926 and CFR29 1910 training regulations, and meets NATE CTS for Competent Climber/Rescuer, ANSI Z490 and Z359 training standards.
