DESCRIPTION:Class Cost $175 – Current Seats Available 5 \nPrerequisites: Tower Climbing Safety Attendees Must have successfully completed a fall protection authorized user course.  Similar training in use\, selection\, inspection of Personal fall arrest systems may be accepted. Contact us to verify you meet the prerequisite. \nThis class is an intensive 4-hour in field-based course that transitions concept into practice. Students will perform practical hands-on training on 100ft tower structure. Training will include use of fall arrest systems\, fall restraint positioning and controlled descent on rope techniques. This course is completely action-based hands-on training that allows the student to practice safe exercise while ascending and descending.  Each task or maneuver will be in accordance with OSHA/MIOSHA regulations.  This will allow the student a rudimentary understanding of regulatory compliance while working safely at heights. \nFull Class Description \n

This course is intended for climbers who have rudimentary work at heights experience and or general knowledge of PPE & Fall Protection equipment such as Crew leaders\, site supervisors\, safety representatives\, lead climbers and others perceived by the employer as a competent person. This training provides individuals with the information needed to safely distinguish\, evaluate\, and control hazards related to work at heights. Completion of this course also allows the competent climber rescuer to oversee the work of an Authorized Climber. \nCompetent Climber/Rescuer exceeds OSHA CFR29 1926 and CFR29 1910 training regulations\, and NATE CRTS for Competent Climber/Rescuer\, ANSI Z490 and Z359 training standards. \n  \n \n  \n  \n

This course is intended to continue the education of the competent climber/rescuer and increase their knowledge of performing rescues. This is a student-led course where participants must actively demonstrate their experience\, skills\, and knowledge to meet Recertification qualifications. \nPrerequisite: MUST hold a current Competent Climber/Rescuer certification from an industry recognized training provider. Online training DOES not meet the prerequisite. \n
