This 4-hour course is for all persons who are exposed to fall hazards in the workplace that use fall protection. This class covers harnesses, connectors, anchorage points and other forms of PPE. This course is intended for those with no knowledge of or experience using fall protection equipment.

The fundamentals for proper selection, inspection, use and care of Harnesses, Connectors, Lanyards, Lifelines, Ropes, Ascension and Descension devices.

This Course includes PPE for Hands, Eyes, Head, Extremities, and protective clothing. Students will be introduced to a wide variety of harness types, connector options and PPE for a better understanding that not all equipment is meant for all jobs when working at heights.

This class is an intensive 4-hour in field-based course that transitions concept into practice. Students will perform practical hands-on training on 100ft tower structure. Training will include use of fall arrest systems, fall restraint positioning and controlled descent on rope techniques. This course is completely action-based hands-on training that allows the student to practice safe exercise while ascending and descending.  Each task or maneuver will be in accordance with OSHA/MIOSHA regulations.  This will allow the student a rudimentary understanding of regulatory compliance while working safely at heights.

Competent climber rescuer is designed for a wide range of industries performing work at heights. This course is intended for climbers who have rudimentary work at heights experience and or general knowledge of PPE & Fall Protection equipment such as Crew leaders, site supervisors, safety representatives, lead climbers and others perceived by the employer as a competent person. This training provides individuals with the information needed to safely distinguish, evaluate, and control hazards related to work at heights. Completion of this course also allows the competent climber rescuer to oversee the work of an Authorized Climber.

Competent Climber/Rescuer exceeds OSHA CFR29 1926 and CFR29 1910 training regulations, and NATE CRTS for Competent Climber/Rescuer, ANSI Z490 and Z359 training standards.

This one day 8-hour class meets industry standards set forth by ANSI/ASSP and NATE CRTS. This course covers both climber and rescuer retraining guidelines to stay current with new regulations, equipment and standards for annual and biennial evaluation of Competent Climber/Rescuers. This course is intended to continue the education of the competent climber/rescuer and increase their knowledge of performing rescues. This is a student-led course where participants must actively demonstrate their experience, skills, and knowledge to meet Recertification qualifications.

Prerequisite: MUST hold a current Competent Climber/Rescuer certification from an industry recognized training provider. Online training DOES not meet the prerequisite.
